For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem:
thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice
of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee. Isaiah 30:19
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities:
for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit
itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be
uttered. Romans 8:26
And this is the confidence that we have in him,
that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if
we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the
petitions that we desired of him. 1John
5:14,15
Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and
pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. Jeremiah
29:12
And it shall come to pass, that before they call,
I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear. Isaiah 65:24
And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy
prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have
hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for
ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. 1King 9:3
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one
for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a
righteous man availeth much. James
5:16
