God's Promises Regarding Hope
Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up
from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in
God. 1Peter 1:21
The wicked is driven away in his wickedness: but
the righteous hath hope in his death. Proverbs
14:32
For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath
appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly
lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present
world;
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious
appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Titus 2:11-13
And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth
himself, even as he is pure. 1John 3:3
But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have
mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but
sinners to repentance. Matthew 9:13
For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of
