God's Promises Regarding
Forgiveness
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to
forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1John 1:9
And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity,
whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their
iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed
against me. Jeremiah 33:8
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your
heavenly Father will also forgive you: Matthew
6:14
But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend,
hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall
be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and
to the evil.
Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is
merciful. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye
shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Luke 6:35-37
To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness
to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive
forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by
