God's Promises Regarding Fear
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a
good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise
endureth forever. Psalms 111:10
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth
out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect
in love. 1John 4:18
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but
of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. 2Timothy
1:7
Be not afraid of sudden fear, neither of the
desolation of the wicked, when it cometh. For the LORD shall be thy
confidence, and shall keep thy foot from being taken. Proverbs 3:25,26
God is our refuge and strength, a very present
help in trouble. Psalms 46:1
For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous,
and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is
against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be
followers of that which is good? But and if ye suffer for righteousness'
sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be
troubled; 1Peter 3:12-14
